But are LASSA tires worth buying? What are the most popular sizes? How much do LASSA tires cost in Egypt? And are they suitable for driving conditions on Egyptian roads?
In this guide, Shaheen Tire will help you learn about the LASSA brand, its features, popular models and sizes, and how to choose the right tires for your vehicle.
Where Are LASSA Tires Made?
LASSA is a Turkish tire brand specializing in tire manufacturing. It was established in 1974, and its tires are manufactured by Brisa, a Turkish company formed through a partnership between Sabancı Group and Japan's Bridgestone Corporation.
LASSA offers a diverse range of tires designed to meet different driving needs, from small and mid-size passenger cars to SUVs and commercial vehicles.
The brand has become a recognized name in the tire industry thanks to its diverse product range and focus on developing tire technologies that support grip, durability, and overall performance.
Are Turkish LASSA Tires Good?
The answer depends on the tire type, model, size, and how you use your vehicle.
However, LASSA offers several options worth considering when buying new tires, especially if you are looking for a recognized Turkish tire brand that offers a balance between specifications and price.
Here are some important factors to consider when evaluating LASSA tires:
Wide Range of Models: LASSA offers tires for passenger cars, SUVs, 4x4 vehicles, and light commercial vehicles.
Stability and Handling: Grip and handling characteristics vary depending on the tire's design and model.

How to Choose the Right LASSA Tire Size for Your Car
Before purchasing new tires, there are several specifications you should understand to avoid choosing the wrong size.
1. Tire Width
This is the first number in the tire size.
For example, in the size 205/60 R16, the tire width is 205 millimeters.
2. Sidewall Aspect Ratio
The number 60 indicates that the tire's sidewall height is 60% of its width.
3. Rim Diameter
The letter R indicates that the tire uses radial construction, while the number 16 means it is designed for a 16-inch rim.
4. Load Index and Speed Rating
Make sure the new tire meets your vehicle's load and speed requirements. Never choose a tire with a load index or speed rating lower than the manufacturer's recommendation.
